The reference
Open late.
Every main street had one: a red and yellow sign with slanted lettering, lit up until the last customer left. Ours just says Guaire.
Front: a white G roundel on the chest.
Back: the Guaire sign in red and yellow, slanted lettering on a bordered plate, with a worn print finish.
Fit and fabric
Oversized and boxy, with dropped shoulders and a high crew neck. Black heavyweight cotton.
Care
Wash cold, inside out. Hang to dry. Iron around the print, not on it.
